Can I just say that, Oct. 11, 2014 was an amazing day! Not just because it was a Saturday. Not just because the weather was absolutely perfect. But because, this was the day Kassandra & Rachelle decided to commit their lives to one another, in front of all their friends and family! They had a beautiful backyard wedding, in south sacramento, with lots of love, laughter, and tacos!! Kassie & Rachelle, thank you so so much for choosing me to document your special day!!
And of course, a super big thanks to my ultra amazing parter in crime, Tiana Hollomon Photography, for contributing some of these amazing images!
I’m in the process of blogging these lovely ladies wedding, but thought I’d share a sneak peak of one of my favorites from their special day!
Stay tuned for their full post in the next couple days!
Words can’t express how much I love these three. I’ve been lucky enough to be their family photographer for the past 5 years, and now their wedding photographer as well!! JJ & Katie were married at St. John’s Catholic Church in Chico, CA. The reception to follow at her parents ranch, was nothing short of amazing!! Thank you guys so much for asking me to take part in your big day!!
And a super huge thank you to my side kick, Tiana Hollomon Photography, for helping me capture some of these awesome moments!!
A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of capturing this little lady’s 6th birthday party. Ava and all her friends had the best time, running wild, at the Sacramento Children’s Museum. But before the festivities, I met up with Miss Ava for some pre-party portraits!
Then it was off to the party!!
Ava and her friends started off their special evening with a little face art, with Ponytails face painting.
Then it was time for some fun!!
Ava and her BFF’s =)
What party is complete without birthday cake and a wish!!
Thank you so much Ava and family for inviting me to document such a fantastic party!!
I can’t believe little Ms. Zema has turned 5!! It seems like just yesterday I was photographing her 3rd birthday party. And like the last, this party was a blast!! With a La La Loopsy theme, animal show, and mini bounce house, a wonderful time was had by all!!
Zema’s mommy really out does herself with the fantastic cakes she makes!! If she wasn’t a Doctor, I’d say she’d have a successful career as a cake decorator!!
Now, I don’t normally include photos of myself. But I couldn’t help but snap a couple images as I was being tackled in the bounce house!! Thank you Zema and family for inviting me, yet again, to document such a fantastic party!!
I can’t believe that my little buddy has turned 1!! It seems like just yesterday his Mommy & Daddy brought him home from the NICU after being born over a month early! It has been such a great year, watching this little fella grow & change through my lens. And photographing his first birthday party was the icing on the cake!! Thank you Mommy, Daddy & Kingston for making me part of such an awesome occasion!! I freakin love you guys 🙂
I absolutely love photographing birthday parties! And this was one of the best ones yet! Little miss Yama celebrated her 2nd birthday party at the Sacramento Children’s museum. There was so much to do! With a painting station, water play, even a little grocery store and play house, there was no shortage of things to do! A great time was had by all!
Yama giving Leo hugs!
Yama spent most of her time in the grocery store! She really enjoyed playing the cashier!
Yama & Mommy
Fun fact: Yama’s mommy made her super cool Kai-lan cake herself!! What talent!!
Thank you so much Yama and family for inviting me to such an awesome party!!
What can I say about Kaylene & Dustin, except that they have to be the cutest couple ever!! They are totally in love, and super excited to meet their daughter, Scarlett, at the end of October!!
Thank you Kaylene & Dustin for the pleasure of photographing the start to your new family!!
Here it is!! The much anticipated post for Lex’s super cool “Where the Wild Things Are” 1st birthday party!!
Lex’s mommies did such an amazing job putting this shindig together. They made all the decorations, cakes and even lex’s super cool Max costume! Such talented ladies!
Time to blow out the candles!
Judging by Lex’s face, this had to be THE best birthday cake EVER!
Thank you so much Lex and Mommies for inviting me to document such a momentous occasion!
Oh. My. Goodness!!! Tell me this little guy is not the cutest thing EVER!! After having the pleasure of photographing his first birthday party (blog post coming soon), Lex and his mommies met me in Old Sacramento for some post birthday fun!
What birthday portrait is complete without balloons?
I just love these images in the candy store!! Lex was more interested in throwing the candy than eating it 🙂
Stay tuned for Lex’s Birthday party photos later this week!!
